Save the maui dolphins

We need to protect and help the maui dolphins, if we don’t they will become extinct. The dolphins are listed internationally as endangered which means they could easily become extinct in the near future. They are the worlds rarest and smallest subspecies of dolphins and there are only 55 left in the world.
Maui dolphins are only found off the west coast of the  north island of New Zealand and no where else in the world.

Maui’s dolphins are known to live up to 20 years. Females are not sexually mature until 7-9 years old, and produce just one calf every 2-4 years. That means any population increase is very slow.
